San Clemente Green Update Issue No. 004 Do you know about the RADIATION RELEASE from San Onofre and what Edison and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) plan to do about it?  Will they continue gambling with our future so that the industry can continue reaping profits while we take the risk? Get involved and hear what they have to say about this dangerous situation. We don't need nuclear power, as we can see from the past four months without it. We must hold them accountable!    We hope you'll consider joining us in LA on Friday to act in solidarity with Japan. We'll be outside of the Consulate-General's office in support of more than 10,000 protesters in Japan. Sense their deep concern and frustration at a recent protest against restarting the Oi Genpatsu reactor near Osaka. Like them, we may be facing a similar circumstance when Edison wants to do the same here. Also, the LA Times Poll is still open so please vote to  shutdown San Onofre, along with others voting that way,  making it 85% of the total!
