Die Stimmung auf dem Anti-Atom-Camp in Metelen ist gut. Etwa 70 Aktivist_innen sind mittlerweile in Metelen auf dem Gelände von Landwirt Heiner Konert eingetroffen und diskutieren gemeinsam wie die Stilllegung aller Atomanlagen weltweit erreicht werden kann.
Bereits am gestrigen Freitag startete das Programm mit Kurzfilmen zum Anti-Atom-Widerstand. Samstag morgen wurden dann Sitzblockaden trainiert und auch mit Spaß ausprobiert, wie es sich anfühlt, von der Polizei bei einer Räumung weggetragen zu werden. „Es ist wichtig, umweltschädliche und menschenverachtende Atomanlagen aktiv anzugehen – Sitzblockaden sind da ein tolles und relativ leichtes Mittel“ berichtet Workshopteilnehmerin Franziska.
Am Samstag Nachmittag kamen Anwohner_innen zum Kaffee Trinken vorbei. Dabei gab es zahlreiche interessante Gespräche, zum Beispiel über den Nutzen des Protests gegen die Atomindustrie. Schon von weitem waren dabei aber auch die Leute vom Samba-Workshop zu hören, die neben dem Windrad kräftig für erneuerbare Energien trommelten. Gleichzeitig fand auch ein Schnupperklettern statt. Abends lauschten etwa 30 Menschen dem Vortrag zur Gronauer Urananreicherungsanlage und den aktuellen Entwicklungen dort.
„Toll war die Aufmerksamkeit der Zuhörer_innen und die rege Beteiligung an der Diskussion.“ kommentiert Christian, ein Besucher des Camps.
Auch ein Film zu der Verhinderung eines AKW-Baus in Frankreich und ein Vortrag zu fiesen Tricks von Polizei und Justiz fanden großen Anklang.
Das Wetter spielte mit und alle sind rundum zufrieden, so meint Irene: „Die Stimmung ist super und wir freuen uns schon auf die nächsten Tage.“
