As we approach the dates of August 6 and 9th, our Buddhist friends and others who've helped our walks are planning events to commemorate the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings and to call for a peaceful, safe, and uncontaminated world.

SAN LUIS OBISPO:Aug 2-9, Br. Sawada is walking from Vandenburg Air Force Base to Diablo Canyon nuclear facility, then fasting Aug 6-9 at Diablo Canyon. Aug 9 at 7 pm, he will speak at an event in San Luis Obispo sponsored by Mothers for Peace. http://mothersforpeace.org/
