no more nukes | hydrangea revolution

"Please don't restart nuclear reactors.
I don't feel that it belongs to nature."

We are against nuclear power reactors' restart.
We are taking our lives in our hands.
What can we do to protect our children's future?

  • Japanese public protest against the Japanese government's nuclear energy policies, demanding a change of energy policy, and also voice their opposition to the restarting of nuclear plants which are currently offline for safety checks, in the streets near the Japanese Prime Minister's official residence, in Tokyo, Japan, on Friday 6th July 2012. The Friday evening demonstrations, which have been ongoing since March this year, and which in the past four weeks have grown considerably in size, are being talked of as the "Hydrangea Revolution" by protestors, as it is hydrangea flower season in Japan.07/06/2012
